Our camping connoisseurs started their adventure at the picturesque Pencarnan Campsite in St David's. With its stunning coastal views and a fun-filled day of sea, surf, and sauna organized by the campsite host, Sian, our happy campers David and Carolynn, Val and Moony, and Callum and Tash were in for a treat. The campers were blown away by the beauty of the campsite and gave it an impressive rating of 13-and-a-half stars. Pencarnan Campsite set the bar high and secured a nice head-start on the leader board.

Kite View Farm outside Haverfordwest

Nestled in the tranquil Pembrokeshire countryside, our camping enthusiasts found themselves at Kite View Farm, just outside Haverfordwest. Run by Mark, a former live events producer turned campsite aficionado, this off-grid and eco-friendly campsite provided the perfect opportunity for our campers to unwind and reconnect with nature. With magical woodlands, majestic meadows, and a focus on getting back to basics, Kite View Farm offered a unique camping experience. Our campers embraced the wild surroundings and even tried their hand at building debris A-frame shelters. From the picturesque meadow to the enchanting tree tents, Kite View Farm truly lived up to its name and left our campers in awe.

Picton Castle

History buffs David and Carolynn had the pleasure of visiting the enchanting Picton Castle. This medieval castle, built in 1280, transported our campers back in time. With its awe-inspiring architecture and beautiful grounds, Picton Castle provided the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll and a glimpse into the past. Our campers were treated to a guided tour, learning about the castle's rich history and exploring its rooms and library. The highlight of their visit was encountering some unexpected residents, including a friendly corn snake that gave Moony quite a fright. Picton Castle offered a delightful blend of history and natural beauty, leaving our campers with lasting memories.

Wild Lakes Aqua Park

Seeking some thrills and spills, our campers headed to Wild Lakes Aqua Park for a wet and wild adventure. This water sports park, featuring a Wipeout obstacle course, offered our campers a chance to test their agility and endurance. With laughter and shrieks filling the air, our campers threw themselves into the challenge, trying to beat the best time of 50 seconds. Though the race quickly turned into a hilarious chaos, with some campers taking unexpected dips into the water, the camaraderie and fun were unmatched.
