The journey continues 40 miles north to Park Foot, a large, family-run commercial campsite with direct access to the magnificent Ullswater, the second-largest lake in the Lake District. Joanne, the fifth-generation campsite host, and her star employee, Heather, warmly welcome our campers, Carolynne, David, Dawn, Sapphia, Chelsie, and Chris, to the site. Park Foot prides itself on offering adventurous activities like mountain biking and water sports, making it an ideal destination for thrill-seeking campers. Carolynne and David immediately fall in love with the breathtaking view from their pitch, while Dawn revels in the grass beneath her toes. However, Chris and Chelsie encounter a slight hiccup when searching for their poles. Nevertheless, with the assistance of their fellow campers, they manage to set up their camp and join in on the fun. With its fantastic location and array of activities, Park Foot is a strong contender for The Perfect Pitch title.

What better way to soak in the beauty of Lake Ullswater than by hopping on board the legendary Ullswater Steamer? Our campers - Dawn, Sapphia, Carolynne, David, Chelsie, and Chris - marvel at the stunning scenery as they cruise through the crystal-clear waters of the Z-shaped lake. Sapphia is in awe, realizing that the picturesque landscapes she once thought only existed in water bottle advertisements are indeed real. The campers learn about the Wainwrights and the history behind the area's famous walks. Although they were hopeful for dolphin sightings, they keep the dream alive for the sake of their fellow campers. As they disembark, they can't help but appreciate the sheer beauty of the lake and how fortunate they are to be surrounded by such natural splendor.
